Sanctuary Offers Relax and Unwind Evening Specials

The Financial District might not be the first neighborhood you think of when it comes to partying it up in Beantown, but when the guys (and gals) in suits are finished with their 9 to 5, they’ve got to go somewhere to kick back, loosen their ties, let down their hair, and relax. The aptly titled Sanctuary on State Street has become a haven for the after-work crowd during the week, and hot-spot on the weekends for some of the best dressed club-goers around.

Tuesday through Thursday from 5-8PM, patrons may partake in specially priced appetizers during Sanctuary’s “Relax and Unwind” time. Their eclectic menu features such seemingly yin and yang munchies as Angry Shrimp and Buddha Fingers, as well as tapas, tacos, salads, grilled pizzas, and gourmet sandwiches. Entrees include Sirloin Au Poivre, Lemon Garlic Chicken, and a mouth-watering Grilled Thai Shrimp.

Sanctuary’s Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night dance parties are helmed by resident DJ Greg Schneider. Weekends feature special guest DJs spinning the latest in hip hop, top 40, and house music. The club also offers VIP packages with line privileges and bottle service, bachelorette party packages, and other functions through their full-time event coordinator. With 3 separate floors, Heaven (the 2nd floor), Earth (the main floor), and Hell (the basement), there’s plenty of room for all of Boston’s hottest partiers to find room to get rowdy. Be aware though, Sanctuary does strictly enforce their dress code. That means no hats, sneakers, work boots, or athletic wear, with absolutely no exceptions.

Sanctuary is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 4PM to 2AM.
